My Beloved Rain is about a young girl who is abused by her alcoholic Father and retrieves drugs for her drugged addicted mother. Her name is rarely spoken and she is ignored by the Household Staff except for the newly added, kind-faced maid, Delora. One day, she notices a voice from the darkness who tries to comforts her. She soon realizes that there is a monster who lives in the darkness of their home and decides to befriend it.
